Contemporary art gallery in Lausanne, Switzerland. Since opening its doors in 2006, it has been home to innovative, solo and pioneering large group exhibitions across a variety of media and genres. The gallery covers a broad spectrum of contemporary artistic practice, from minimalist works, paintings, drawings and sculpture to large-scale installations, digital art and video work. SAS gallery functions as a Kunsthalle or project space, stimulating observation and discourse.

Modern and aggressive yearly exhibition program established Swiss Art Space as one of the leading galleries in French part of Switzerland. In the Gallery program, more then 350 artists per year expose their art in constantly changing exhibitions. SAS gallery is dedicated to the promotion of national and international artists, providing original art to established and emerging collectors. Within an exhibition floor space of over 250m2 and over 400m2 in walls, gallery shows the works of its artists as well as the works of invited guest artists in group or solo shows. The gallery also maintains a complete publishing program to produce exhibition catalogues, monographs and artist's books, with highest possible standards in today printing technology. Swiss Art space is publishing 8 Art Reviews per year covering every exhibition and portraying artists' presence in them.

All events held at SAS are free and open to the public.

By the Fall of 2013 and in 2014 Swiss Art Space is turning Gallery's interest towards digital art and new media, giving space to new expressions of young artists around the world. Swiss Art Space is a non-profit oriented organization with a goal to bring public interest and artist talent in close contact by regularly organizing new exhibitions with different themes and subjects. Our motto is to do whatever we do Better and More.
